ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Pakistan has approved the Angoor Adda highway in southern Waziristan tribal district as a transit route for exports to Afghanistan and central Asian countries.
The approval of the highway as a transit route came at a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, VOA reported.
Angoor Adda is located 35 kilometres from southern Waziristan district near the Durand Line and at as long distance from the Barmal district of Afghanistan’s southeastern Paktika province.
