Family problems force man to commit suicide in Badakhshan

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): A 25-year-old man has committed suicide by hanging himself due to family problems in northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Sunday.

Dr. Shafiqullah Hamdard, chief physician of the provincial hospital, said the individual hanged himself on Saturday night and died on the way to the hospital.

Mahazuddin Ahamdi, director of information and culture, said that 25-year-old Khalid Ahmad committed suicide by hanging himself due to family issues on Saturday night.

He said Ahmad owned a spare parts shop and divorced his wife a week ago.
