Hundreds of damaged military vehicles restored: MoD

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Defense says 1,530 different military vehicles that were destroyed and unusable have been repaired.

The ministry wrote on its Twitter page on Tuesday that the vehicles were repaired by the technical team in the battalion of joint military training.

The repaired vehicles include 1,250 pick-ups, 60 Humvees, 75 international vehicles, 42 coasters, 13 forklifts, 22 cargo trucks, 17 fords, 10 bulldozers, 10 bobcats, 10 four-wheel motorcycles, and five squatters and some other equipment.

The source also wrote, among these, 590 of the restored vehicles were from the previous government, which were unusable  due to lack of spare parts.
