KANDAHAR (Pajhwokj): A 13-year-old boy committed suicide in the Zheri district of southern Kandahar province after his father forbade him from leaving the house.
Kandahar police spokesman Haji Zaid told Pajhwok that the incident happened on Sunday morning, the third day of Eidul Fitr, in Sanzari village.
He said Idrees hanged himself to death after an argument with his father.
He said after the father restricted Idrees from leaving home to pass time with friends, he committed suicide.
The boy's father, Abdul Manan, however, said he did not say something to his son that could provoke him . . .
