SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Eight-six tents worth 17.5 million afs have been distributed to schools in northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Tuesday.
Education Director Mawlavi Mohammad Tahir Jawad said the tents had been distributed to schools that have no buildings.
The tents were provided by the UNICEF, he added.
Mawlavi Jawad said the price of each tent was 200,000 afs and total 86 tents were accounted for 17.5 million afs.
“Each tent is 24 square metres with double cover. It resists cold and hot weather and provide space for one class,” he said.
