2 women shot dead in Ghor, 1 suspect arrested

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Two women have been killed in two separate incidents in western Ghor province, an official said on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Abdul Rahman told Pajhwok Afghan News: “A woman named Gul Andam was shot dead in the Jaar Sangar village of Ferozkoh late on Tuesday.”

He said the woman was mistakenly killed by a 12-year-old boy with a pistol. Security forces have launched an investigation into the incident.

He added the security forces arrested an individual on charges of killing his wife in the Pasaband district of the province.

“The man, who killed his spouse a few days ago, was arrested by police on Tuesday. The detainee is currently being interrogated,” he added.
