1 killed, some injured in Badakhshan traffic accident

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): A civilian was killed and some security personnel injured after the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and flipped over in Kishim district of northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Monday.

Maazuddin Ahmadi, Badakhshan Information and Culture director, said the accident took place on Sunday.

He said the security personnel were heading to Kishim district from Gandom Qul village when their vehicle veered off the road and flipped over in the limits of Nochi area.

One civilian travelling with the security forces was killed and some security men were injured in the accident, he said

Without revealing their number, Ahmadi said the injured were evacuated to Kishim district clinic and one security officer was taken to the provincial hospital and he was out of danger.
