FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): An unidentified gunman shot dead a former judge in the previous government in western Ghor province, a relative said on Sunday.
Gulabuddin Ajtemayee, a nephew of the judge, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Mufti Mohammad Nazeer Manawi, was gunned down by an unknown armed man on his way home from mosque on Saturday evening.”
He said the attacker managed to flee on his motorcycle.
According to him, Mufti Manawi was serving as the appellant court judge in the previous government.
He urged security organs to arrest the killer and bring him to justice.
However, security officials have said nothing in this regard.
