KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan National Food and Drug Administration (NFDA) on Tuesday warned traders against importing artificially colored tea to the country.
Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, acting director of the authority, issued the warning after signing an agreement with the Tea Importers’ Association, NFDA said in a statement.
“Tea that is purchased abroad has a small amount of artificial color mixed in it, those who import artificially colored tea will be prosecuted,” he added.
