Mentally ill boy ‘commits suicide’ in Balkh

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A young man has committed suicide by shooting himself with pistol in northern Balkh province, police official said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Mohammad Asif Waziri told Pajhwok Afghan News that the Sadam ended his life after shooting himself by pistol in the Kata Ariana area of Mazar-i-Sharif city.

Without providing details, Asif called mental illness behind the incident.
