KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan’s Apex Court on Thursday ordered “immediate release” of the country’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan after terming his arrest in a corruption case ‘unlawful’, according to a media report.
The directives were issued by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial as the court resumed hearing Imran’s plea against his arrest.
Khan was arrested on May 9 from the Islamabad High Court’s biometric room by security forces.
