NELLI (Pajhwok): Work on the construction of a concert and steel bridge at the cost of 24 million afs has been started in the Awri Mazar area of Nelli, the capital of southern Daikundi province, an official said.
Mohibullah Mohib, an official of the Social and Technical Service Organisation who implement the project, said this bridge was 28 meters long and five metres wide and would be constructed from concrete and iron.
The bridge he said would benefit 30,000 people directly.
Haji Mohammad Noor Khalil, chief of staff of the Governor Office, said: “There is security nationwide and without challenges we could implement the development projects.”
He hoped that donors would implement more uplift projects in other parts of the province as well.
