PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Six alleged terrorists were killed in a clearing operation in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province on Saturday, the military said.
The operation in Muslim Bagh town came a day after terrorists stormed a paramilitary base in the area, killing while people, including soldiers.
A statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) the operation that was launched on Friday had been completed. Additionally, the soldiers killed two terrorists earlier in the morning.
“All six terrorists in the compound, who were well equipped, have been sent to hell,” read the statement, which added seven “sons of the soil”, including a civilian, were killed and six individuals injured.
Separately, a hostage rescue operation was conducted to save three families from a residential block, the ISPR said. “The terrorists had not even spared children from their horrendous approach.”
