Man freed, 3 kidnappers killed: GDI

KABUL (Pajhwok): Three kidnappers have been killed and one person was released by intelligence personnel during an operation, the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) said on Tuesday.

On its Twitter handle, the GDI said: “Jawad son of Haji Hakim was kidnapped one month earlier was released from kidnappers and handed over to his family.”

The GDI did not provide more detail but added that 3 kidnappers known as Walli, Akbar and Wais were killed in the operation.
