KABUL (Pajhwok): Two prisoners have died while cleaning the sewage well of the prison in southwestern Nimroz province, according to a well-placed source on Thursday.
In addition, a number of prisoners went on hunger strike in the prison while the provincial Information and Cultural Affairs Department rejected the claim.
Aghaz Wali, one of the prisoners during a telephonic conversation, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Prison officials sent two of the prisoners down to the sewage well to clean it but they died of suffocation, there the prisoners have no electricity, no proper food is provided and their future of grim . . .
