KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Defence (MoD) says that Afghanistan and Iranian officials have underlined the necessary future coordination at the end of the two-day discussions.
In a statement, the ministry said that the two-day talk ended between the defence officials of Afghanistan and Iran in Kabul on Sunday.
Both sides agreed to boost border security cooperation. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan voiced its willingness to bolster cooperative relations with neighbour, the statement added.
Mali Khan, deputy chief of the army, welcomed the visiting team and affirmed IEA’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Iran on border security . . .
