MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested a man accused of killing his mother and brother in Karghayu district of eastern Laghman province, an official said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Yunas Yousafzai identified the alleged murderer to Pajhwok Afghan News as Mohammad Jawad, son of Shams.
He said Jawad had killed his mother and brother under mysterious circumstances few months ago.
He added the accused was arrested by intelligence operatives and was introduced to judiciary after confessing to his crime.
