MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Ten people tested positive for Congo virus and two of them died of the disease during the past one week in northern Balkh province, an official said on Saturday.
Balkh Public Health director Dr. Najibullah Tawana, who launched a campaign to raise awareness about Congo disease, said 10 positive cases of the disease were registered in Balkh Regional Hospital during the past one week and two of the patients lost battle for life.
