KABUL (Pajhwok): The caretaker government has appointed Mullah Mohammad Nasir as acting minister of Finance, an official said on Monday.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the government spokesman, tweeted that some new appointments had been made in accordance with a decree from the leader of Islamic Emirate.
He said former deputy director of customs and revenue, Mullah Mohammad Nasir was appointed as acting minister of Finance.
Mullah Abdul Qahir Idrees, former deputy minister of Water and Energy, was appointed as deputy director of customs and revenue, Haji Abdul Qadeer Ahmad, deputy director of Da Afghanistan Bank as deputy minister of finance.
