KABUL (Pajhwok): Three people were killed and one injured as a result of heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours, State Ministry for Disaster Management said on Tuesday.
Shafiullah Rahimi, spokesperson Disaster Management Ministry, in video clip said that three people were killed in Paktia, Paktika, Maidan Wardak and Khost provinces due to heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry since April 66 people were killed and 58 others injured in 13 provinces due natural disasters.
The Afghanistan Red crescent Society and the International Committee of the Red Cross said that Afghanistan was the fourth most affected country from natural disasters such as flood, avalanches, earthquake and others.
