PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Flash floods washed away dozens of homes and destroyed hundreds of acres of crop fields in this capital city of central Logar province, an official said on Tuesday.
Omar Mansour, the Logar Governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the yesterday’s floods emerged in Babus, Alozi, Haji Gulan and Kalingar areas of Pul Alam city.
Mansour added that dozens of residential houses and hundreds of acres of agricultural land were destroyed by the floods.
He said efforts were being made to conduct a transparent survey of the affected families and provide them with emergency . . .
