Dozens of weapons seized in Baghlan: GDI

PUL-I-KHUMARI (Pajhwok): Dozens of weapons have been recovered and seized in the Baghlan-i-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province, the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) said on Wednesday.

In a statement, GDI said that a number of weapons and ammunitions that were kept illegally seized during an operation by intelligence operatives in the district.

The weapons included gun machine, 19 Kalashnikovs, a M-16, a number of bullets and several other ammunition.

Earlier, a number of heavy and light weapons were captured in the same district of Baghlan province, the source added.
