KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) on Tuesday announced the launch of exchanging worn-out 10 and 20 denomination notes with new ones, asking citizens to replace them without charges.
In a statement, the central bank said: “Dear compatriots can exchange their 10 and 20 denomination notes for up to 10,000 afghanis by visiting all central bank agencies and commercial banks in Kabul and provinces.”
The source also added that the banks were obliged to accept 10 and 20 afghanis banknotes and exchange them for new banknotes without any free.
