FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): An explosion took place at Fateha ceremony of the former deputy governor of northern Badakhshan province on Thursday, local officials said.
Mahazuddin Ahmadi, director of information and culture, confirmed the blast, but did not provide details.
The condolence ceremony for former deputy governor Maulvi Nasir Ahmad Ahmadi was held today in Masjid Nabawi in Faizabad.
Two days ago, Maulvi was killed in a car bombing in Faizabad city.
