Teenage boy dies after drowning in Kabul river

JALALBAD (Pajhwok): A child died after drowning in Kabul river in Behsud district of eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday.

The child was pulled from the river in Lalpura district, said Sidiqullah Qureshi, the information culture director.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News security officials of Lalpura district found the body of a 14-year-old child in Kabul River.

He added the child was a resident of Behsud district. The body was handed over to his family.
