JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Mediation by local tribal elders has ended 60 years of enmity between two families in the Hisarak district of eastern Nangarhar province.
Surfaced due to land ownership dispute, the enmity claimed the life of one person.
Sidiqullah Qureshi, a spokesman for the information and culture department, said the two families reconciled and ended their 60-year-old enmity in Lajgar area of the district, thanks to the mediation from tribal elders.
He said: “About 60 years ago, a clash took place between Haji Shah Gul and Dad Gul families over land ownership which resulted in killing of one . . .
