KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) doctors will provide free eye care services to 800 patients during a 10-day camping in Kabul and in Kandahar province beginning tomorrow.
ARCS in a press release on its twitter said the free treatment is financed by the Foundation of King Salman and Al Basar Private Charity Foundation.
ARCS doctors will examine and treat 4,000 patients with eye illnesses in Kabul and as many as in Kandahar city and patients who need surgeries will be operated upon as well.
The doctors will begin the examination and treatment of such patients at the ARCS hospital in Tahia Maskan Square of Kabul city (form tomorrow June 13-17) and in Mohmand International Hospital in Kandahar city (from June 21-25).
