KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Higher Education Minister Nada Mohammad Nadeem has said sanctions the international community has imposed on Afghanistan would not squeeze the interim government.
In a video clip posted on the Ministry of Higher Education’s twitter page, Nadeem said they were committed to protecting the independence of the people and no one would be allowed to interfere in Afghanistan.
“We are also committed to protecting the independence of the people of Afghanistan, we will not allow outsiders to interfere in Afghanistan, and we will not be affected imposing restrictions on us.”
“We are committed to all Sharia rights of men and women, we are committed to the protection of the borders of Afghanistan, we are committed to the development of Afghanistan, we are committed to the reconstruction of Afghanistan, the educational and scientific chain of Afghanistan and its development. We are committed to protecting the honor of the people of Afghanistan.”
It should be noted that the European Union imposed restrictions on two acting ministers including Nadeem last year in response to violations of women’s rights.
