Afghanistan exports pine nuts worth 1.8bn afs in 5-months

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan exported pine nuts worth 1.8 billion afs in the past five months, according to a media report on Friday.

Since January 2023 till June 10, Afghanistan exported pine nuts worth over 1.8 billion afs, a reported in the state run Bakhtar News Agency said.

Pine nut is a precious dry fruit found in Afghanistan and according to Bakhtar currently one kilogram of pine nut was accounted for 2,000 afs in the market.

According to reports pine nuts can increase your energy levels due to their protein, iron, and magnesium. The antioxidant power of vitamin E contained in them may help keep your skin healthy and young in appearance. Additionally, regularly eating pine nuts or other seeds and nuts may help reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease.
