Hajj minister to attend Islamic conference in Jeddah

KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs Maulvi Noor Mohammad Saqib is in Saudi Arabia to attend a conference on "Jurisprudence and Interpretation of Hajj" in Jeddah.

Maulvi Saqib said in a video clip shared on the ministry’s twitter page that he will participate in the conference.

He said ministers of hajj and prominent religious figures from Islamic countries and other dignities are participating in the conference to discuss Hajj related issues

Saqib said he would use the forum to convey the message of Afghans and Islamic Emirate to the world and hoped the meeting would be productive.

He said pre-hajj flight operation was about complete and he left for Saudi Arabia yesterday to perform the pilgrimage and learn about the problems of Afghan pilgrims.
