SAR-I-PUL CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead a man in the Sayyad district of northern Sar-i-Pul province, an official said on Wednesday.
Mohammad Yaseen Anas, deputy administrative chief of Sayyad district, said the incident took place in Mirza Awlang village of the district on Tuesday night.
He said the slain man, Ramazan, was taken out of his house by unknown armed men and shot dead on the spot.
The motive behind the murder was not ascertained, but security forces were probing the incident.
