2 people killed in Faryab traffic accident

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed in a traffic accident in the Qaisar district of northwestern Faryab province, an official said on Friday.

Traffic Department Director Ahmad Fahim Kohi said the accident happened on Thursday evening on the Qaisar-Almar highway when a Saracha type vehicle and motorcycle collided.

He said Abdul Qodus, 60, and Mir Walli, 57, were killed in the accident.

Sarach driver Gul Mohammad has been arrested, he added.
