KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Interior Minister Serajuddin Haqqani has said that Daesh was not active in Afghanistan, the group may have some ideological support which is not of a huge concern while repeated mentioning of the group would meant advertisement which should be avoided.
On it Twitter handle the Ministry of Interior (MoI) wrote that Haqqani held a meeting with UN Special Coordinator and Independent Assessor Feridun Hadi Sinirliogluon on Thursday.
The visiting UN envoy stressed the need for more coordination and cooperation between Afghanistan and the world in fight against terrorism and drug trafficking.
