14-year-old boy’s body found hanging from tree in Kandahar

KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): A 14-year-old boy has allegedly committed suicide in Arghandab district of southern Kandahar province, an official said on Friday.

Arghandab district deputy head Maulvi Abbas Akhund told Pajhwok the incident happened in Sayedan Kalacha area of Arghandab district.

He said the boy had gone missing yesterday and his lifeless body was found hanging from a tree in a garden this morning.

“The deceased’s father says they have no enmity with anyone, but his son was sad most of the time and they did not understand why?”
