KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Vice and Virtue in a letter says that the operations of women’s beauty salons would be banned after July 25 following a verbal decree from the supreme leader of Islamic Emirate.
In a letter, the MoVV said: “According to the verbal guidance of Islamic Emirate supreme leader, the operations of all beauty salons are prohibited from July 25 in Kabul and provinces and their licenses will be canceled as well.”
The ministry also ordered the Kabul municipality to bring the new decree into effect and cancel the licenses of women’s beauty salons.
