6 narcotics producing labs destroyed, 9 held in Ghor

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Six narcotics producing factories have been destroyed and nine suspects arrested in connection with in western Ghor province, an official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Abdul Rahman Badri told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Based on the intelligence information the anti-narcotics police had recovered and destroyed six narcotics factories in Asto and Kharghaltan villages of Shahrak district in that past two days.

According to him, nine people were arrested during the operations and are under interrogation.

Badri said that security forces had also seized two high speed vehicles related to these factories during the raid.
