13 suspects detained on charges of robberies in Helmand

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): At least 13 suspects have been arrested in connection with robberies in the capital of southern Helmand province, an official said on Wednesday.

Maulvi Mohammad Qasim Riaz, director of information and culture, told Pajhwok Afghan News these suspects had been detained in 2^nd, 7^th and 9^th police district of Lashkargha city.

He said that 13 thieves were involved in stealing cars, motorcycles, phones and other items in the provincial capital.

Riaz added that four weapons, four motorcycles and a number of other items were seized from the detainees.
