SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): State land measuring more than 50,000 acres has been recovered from usurpation in northern Sari Pul province, an official said on Wednesday.
Qari Abdul Qadir Wahdat, agriculture, irrigation and livestock director, told Pajhwok Afghan News the Land Grab Prevention Commission that consists of 11th organs had been able to wrest back 51,849 acres of state land from usurpers in the past 10 months.
“The usurpers had turned state land into agriculture fields against the law and the government has responsibility to recover the land from usurpers so that all people can benefit from it . . .
