PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Nearly 20 people, including a dozen Pakistani soldiers, have been killed in separate military operations in southwestern Balochistan province.
In separate statements on Wednesday, the army’s media wing said seven armed assailants, who attacked the security personnel in Zhob and Sui areas, were also killed
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the militant attack in Sui triggered a fire exchange. Three soldiers and two terrorists were killed during the operation, it added.
In an earlier assault on a military facility in Zhob Cantonment, nine soldiers and five assailants were killed, the ISPR added.
According to Dawn, the Tehreek Jihad Pakistan (TJP) — a group involved in deadly assaults — claimed responsibility for the attack on the Zhob garrison.
