KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Metrological Department (AMD) has predicted the possibility of strong windstorms with dust in nine provinces of the country.
There is a possibility of strong and momentary winds with dust in Herat, Farah, Nimroz, Helmand, Kandahar, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, and Badghis provinces today (Thursday), AMD said in a statement.
According to the department, the windstorm speed in different places is predicated between 20 and 90 kilometers per hour.
