KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa says Afghanistan desires strong relations with neighboring countries based on mutual respect.
Khairkhwa met with Pakistan Ambassador Obaid-ur-Rahman Nizamani and both sides discussed holding cultural and handicraft exhibitions between the two countries, Bakhtar – a state-run news agency reported.
Mullah Khairkhwa said such exhibitions could strengthen cultural diplomacy and stressed the role of tourism industry in economic development and creation of traveling opportunities for citizens of both countries.
Nizamani also talked about cultural, historical and religious harmonies of the two countries, adding that Pakistan wants a stable and prosperous Afghanistan.
