KABUL (Pajhwok): A coordination meeting has been organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on interaction between caretaker government and foreign delegations.
MoFA said in a press release the meeting was chaired by Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and attended by heads of departments and foreign relations officials of all ministries, general directorates and independent government agencies.
In line with the latest decree from the IEA supreme leader and the cabinet decision, government organs were directed to interact with foreign countries and diplomatic missions.
Procedures for meetings, official trips, signing of agreements and dealing with the coordination problem in the relevant areas were discussed in detail.
Solutions to the issues were shared with the participants in written form along with the leadership’s decree, the ministry added.
The attendees hailed the meeting useful for an integrated approach and streamlining of affairs besides ensuring coordination and understanding.
The participants urged the conduct of more such meetings and called them useful for coordination and familiarisation, the statement concluded.
