KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan Railway Authority (ARA) on Saturday said 61,000 metric tons of commercial goods were imported and exported last week.
ARA on its twitter handle said: “During the course of last week over 60,000 metric tons of commercial goods were imported to the country via railways.”
About 41,134 metric tons of goods were imported to the country via Hairatan port, 10,976 metric tons via Aqina port and 7,908 metric tons through Torghundi port while 1,398 tons of goods were exported through the mentioned ports to other countries.
ARA added that its officials were trying to provide more facilities to traders.
