Nadeem seeks higher edu cooperation from Pakistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has asked Pakistan for enhanced bilateral cooperation in the field of higher education.

Higher Education Minister Nida Mohammad Nadeem issued the call at a meeting with Pakistan Ambassador Obaid ur Rahman Nizamani.

Nadeem also urged the ambassador to cooperate on addressing problems related to Pakistani visas for Afghan students.

In response, Nizamani promised he would share Nadeem’s requests with the relevant Pakistani authorities.

“In the near future, Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan will travel to Kabul,” the diplomat was quoted as saying in a statement from the Higher Education Ministry.

The ambassador added he would arrange a meeting between Nadeem and Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan to discuss the topic.
