PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is attending the Imam Abu Hanifa National and International Expo and Trade Fair in Kabul,
Organised by the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce Industries (ACCI), the exhibition is aimed to promote local products, familiarise Afghan traders and manufacturers with new products of other countries.
Another objective is to create new opportunities for export, imports and joint ventures, and expand trade relations between Afghan and international entrepreneurs.
In a statement, TDAP said it had selected 22 leading Pakistani companies from the agriculture machinery, construction material, auto motive, cable, tyre, crockery and pharmaceutical sectors to participate and exhibit their products.
TDAP Chief Executive Zubair Motiwala was invited as chief guest. He commended the arrangements made by the Afghan government for the trade fair.
Calling Pakistan Afghanistan’s largest trade partner, he thanked the Afghan government for providing such business opportunities to Pakistani exhibitors.
Motiwala added his country was providing Afghanistan facilitation for smooth global trade through transit facility and massive tariff concessions on all fruit and vegetable exports to Pakistan.
