17-year-old girl commits suicide in Daikundi

NEILI (Pajhwok): A 17-year-old girl has committed suicide in the Miramor district of central Daikundi province, police official said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Ghulam Ali Javed confirmed the incident and said that their team had launched investigation and the motive behind the suicide was yet to be clear.

Aman, a relative of the slain girl, said that 17-year-old committed suicide due to domestic violence.

However, committing suicide is considered major sin in Islam and strictly forbidden.
