MAINANA/NEILI (Pajhwok): Two young women have committed suicide separately in Balcharagh district of northern Faryab province and Shahristan district of central Daikundi province, officials said on Wednesday.
Damullah Mahawez, Faryab crime branch police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that an 18-year-old girl committed suicide by eating rat poison in Qurchi area of the district.
He added the girl got married five years ago at the age of 13 to a person as his second wife.
