21-year-old man killed in grenade blast in Parwan

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A 21-year-old man was killed when a hand grenade exploded in his house in Saidkhel district of central Parwan province.

In a statement, police said the incident took place around 5:00am in a house in Nizai village of the district.

A 21-year-old man who was injured in the blast succumbed to his wounds on the way to the hospital.

The police said the body of the person had been transferred to Kabul for further investigation.
