KABUL (Pajhwok): Police have arrested a man who took passports and money from 110 individuals promising them student visas, Kabul police said on Monday.
The detainee took around $1,000 to $2,000 from each victim, police said.
Khalid Zadran, Kabul police headquarters spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a company promised people student visas and took money from 110 people, who were swindled out of $1,000 up to $2,000 each.
Zadran said police took action after some people complained and arrested one of the two suspects. The second suspect has fled and police are searching for him . . .
