PM Office: IEA officials must fulfill responsibilities unhindered

KABUL (Pajhwok): To remove the gap between the people and the government, officials should discharge their responsibilities in accordance with principles and without delay, the Prime Minister’s Office said on Monday.

The Presidential Palace (ARG) wrote on its twitter that the head of Prime Minister’s Office Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi met with officials of various departments and ministries of Islamic Emirate (IE) yesterday.

The meeting was aimed at further enhancing transparency in issues related to the governance.

Mullah Abdul Wasi told the officials: “Your offices are first contact and relation between the people and the IE, your good treatment of the people reflects the vision of IE, so we expect that legitimate demands of the people will be considered and orders and decrees of the leadership conveyed to the people on time”.

He said to remove the gap between the people and the government, the officials should fulfill their responsibilities in line with principles of Islamic orders and the Islamic Emirate.

Maulavi Gulzar Ahmad Haqqani, head of Political and Civil Affairs department of the  Prime Minister’s Office, on the occasion said IE offices played the role of a  bridge between the people and the government and the officials must fulfill their responsibilities without any delay.
